Douglas and Karen pride themselves on portraying their subjects as naturally as possible.

They feel that the true artistry of the photographer lies in the selection of the subject, creative use

of light, composition, color, form and texture, rather than relying on visual gimmicks. This principle

is carried through to their darkroom process, all of which they do themselves. After they scan their

original film transparencies, the images are digitally processed using Photoshop, and only traditional

darkroom controls are utilized such as dodging, burning, color control, cropping, etc.

Fine Art Posters are created using lightfast, heavyweight matte paper and have a lightfast rating of

up to 25 years before any noticeable fading occurs (depending upon display or storage conditions).

They measure 13" x 19" (image area measures approximately 9" x 13") and feature the name of

the photographer printed beneath the photograph. They are shipped rolled in a protective mailing

container.
